The Clear Connection Manager provides a platform-independent framework to connect to WiMAX networks. The framework supports connections to any WiMAX network using any WiMAX device that is adhered to the WiMAX forum-supported Common API. Connection Manager also provides the functionality to connect to WiFi network on Microsoft Windows using the WLAN APIs. The goal is to have one Connection Manager that enables user to connect to any type of wireless network.
