Locobird is a free app for Android that uses the Clearwire Location Platform in addition to the Android Location Manager. It lets you do a Twitter search in a radius around your location. Key source code is published here:

When using the incorrect device address "sip:71.21.199.146;user=ip" in the request, the error we get back is the following instead of a proper error code.
